Mines - Bounding
Usually
buried with only a small part of the initiator protruding above ground
level, these mines are tripwire or pressure activated. When activated
the sets off a propellant charge which lifts the mine body approximately
1 meter into the air , the mine explodes causing injury to the head and
chest area of its victims.
